1. Overview

JumpKit is a desktop application designed with a local-first philosophy. Your jump data — links, categories, and preferences — is stored on your machine. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal link data.

2. Data We Collect

When you create a JumpKit account, we collect:

• Email address — used for authentication and account recovery
• Account preferences — plan tier, subscription status
• Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregate metrics (e.g., number of jumps launched) to help us improve the product. No link URLs or file paths are transmitted.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• ❌ The URLs, file paths, or folder locations in your jumps
• ❌ Your browsing history or file system contents
• ❌ Personal information beyond your email address
• ❌ Data for advertising or third-party sale

4. Team Features

If you use JumpKit's team sync features, shared category data is transmitted between team members via our encrypted sync service. This data is stored solely for the purpose of syncing and is accessible only to members of your team.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• LemonSqueezy — payment processing and subscription management
• Supabase — authentication infrastructure
• Vercel — website hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data required to operate JumpKit (e.g., email for auth, payment details for billing).

6. Data Retention

We retain your email address and account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data from our servers within 30 days. Your local JumpKit data remains on your machine unless you uninstall the app.
